What the service is

LedgIQ is a bookkeeping service. You capture transactions by camera, file import or API, the service drafts double-entry records for you and a person in your organisation confirms them. The service also produces reports and drafts of tax workings from the books you keep.

The service drafts and calculates; it does not replace professional judgement. Tax filings and other regulatory submissions are reviewed and approved by a person before anything leaves your organisation and decisions about your business remain yours.

Acceptable use

Use the service to keep honest books for a lawful business. You agree not to use it to launder money, to evade tax, to keep deliberately false records or to break any law that applies to you.

You also agree not to attack the service: no probing other organisations' data, no attempts to bypass authentication or rate limits and no reselling access without an agreement with us. We may suspend accounts that put other customers' data at risk and we will tell you why.

Your data stays yours

The customer owns the books. Every transaction, document and report you create in LedgIQ belongs to your organisation, not to us. We hold it on your behalf and you can export all of it in one click on every plan, any day, without a fee.

We use your data only to run the service for you. We do not sell it and we do not use it to train models. If you leave, your data leaves with you and is deleted after the export window described in the privacy policy.

Liability

We build the service so mistakes are visible and reversible: drafts are marked until confirmed, history is append-only and every number traces to its source. Still, no software is perfect. The service is provided as it stands and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that the law does not allow us to exclude.

You remain responsible for the accuracy of what you confirm and for meeting your own filing obligations.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Bangladesh / to be confirmed by counsel] and disputes are resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction. If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest of the terms stand.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that affects your rights, we will tell you before the change takes effect and you can export your data and leave before it does.
